After the stay-at-home orders issued by the state, the busy city centers and rushy streets turned to ghost towns. It makes it tough for food lovers to go to restaurants and enjoy a good meal. When restaurants and the rest food corners were closed, the food industry turns out as a star.

After the covid-19, nobody wants to put their life at risk either by going to rushy places or eating at dine-in areas. This also decreased the business of the restaurant industry to an extreme level. To keep themselves safe during this pandemic, people have started preferring food trucks for small events and parties. The food truck rentals are hired more than the traditional caterers to avoid risk as well as to save time and money. The reason behind this is the quality food offered by them at affordable rates and the safety that comes with their services. Due to several reasons, food trucks are considered safer during covid-19. Some of them include:-

Less crowdy:-

These days people avoid crowded places. As such places have a high risk of infection. Food trucks help to prevent this risk as they remain less crowded than the restaurants. The dine-in facility of the restaurants keeps them at high risk of infections. Hin a single day around hundreds of people visit a restaurant and this makes it essential for the staff to provide disinfected din-in area to each customer. But as food trucks always remain less crowded and have less or no dine-in facility so it becomes easy for them to maintain safety.

Less staff:-

We know that more staff means more involvement of people from different places and more risk. Where restaurants have staff for cooking, cleaning, and serving so it is tough for them to avoid the risk. But on the other side food trucks have a very limited staff. Generally, the driver itself is the cook of the food truck or usually has 1–3 members only to cook, serve as well take the orders.

Easy to clean:-

As compared to the restaurants, the size of the food truck is much small, which makes it easy for the food truck members to clean it properly and regularly. The involvement of staff members, and so many diners make it tough for the restaurants to disinfect everything and every time.

Less contact:-

Food trucks have less contact with their customers. Where the diners stay at the restaurants for a good time, the customers of food trucks get the option to take the food of their choice and have it where ever they want. This helps the customers to avoid others. During the preparation of their order, the customers can stand nearby or can wait within their cars, etc. while following social distancing.

Helps to maintain distance:-

To prevent the risk, it is easy for the food trucks to maintain proper distance between their customers. The less contact of the food truck staff helps them in following the rules of the state. Along with this, they offer premium quality food at affordable rates. due to these reasons, many people now even hire food truck rentals for their office events, birthday parties, and now even for weddings also.

In restaurants, the customers always have the question regarding the safety and how their food was prepared. But food trucks have the ability to satisfy their customers with their services as well as food quality and taste. Each customer can easily have a conversation with the food owner and cook. This helps them to have a good idea that how their food is getting prepared and what safety steps are taken by them during the preparation and while delivering the food.
